London-based Agon has emerged from stealth with a $7 million pre-seed and a $23 million seed round, developing sovereign AI training infrastructure aimed at European defense customers. The company is being funded against a gap that European defense ministries have been describing publicly for two years. Applying machine learning to intelligence, surveillance, targeting, and electronic warfare requires training runs on classified data, and training runs require compute at a scale that no European defense ministry owns internally.

Three rounds closed in a single session, all funding the same problem from different angles. Onyx Security raised a $113 million Series B led by Bessemer for a platform that lets enterprises deploy AI agents securely, taking total funding to $153 million. Groundcover raised a $100 million Series C led by One Peak for observability software capable of monitoring AI agents, bringing its total to $160 million. Spur Intelligence raised $200 million led by Insight Partners for technology that distinguishes human from bot traffic to identify fake users and threats.

Integral Privacy Technologies has raised $25 million in total funding, with backing from Venrex, The General Partnership, Array Ventures, GreatPoint Ventures, LiveRamp Ventures, Haystack, Virtue Ventures, Also Capital, Caffeinated Capital, LifeX Ventures, Circle & Co, and WS Investments. The round is aimed at scaling what the company calls its Forward Deployed Privacy Services — a service layer meant to make sensitive real-world data usable for AI training without triggering the regulatory and re-identification risks that normally keep that data locked away.
